Dr. Ali-Jones completed her general surgery residency training at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. During her residency at Mount Sinai, she trained with world renowned surgeons in minimally invasive and colorectal surgery, with an emphasis in inflammatory bowel disease. She is board-eligible with the American Board of Surgery, and is also a candidate member of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Ali- Jones is a native of the South Bay and enjoys serving our community.

Dr. Fisher was born in Montreal, Canada. He completed his medical training at Boston University in 1972 and did his surgical residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Fisher spent one year in a surgical oncology fellowship at the City of Hope Medical Center, where he obtained additional experience in performing more extensive operations for treating cancer.

Dr. Camel earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Illinois School of Medicine with Honors in 1988. After graduating with James Scholar Honors from medical school he then completed residencies in general surgery at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas and the University of Southern California/ Los Angeles County Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. He also completed a fellowship in pediatric surgery at the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles.

After obtaining his medical degree at Albany Medical College in Albany, New York, where he was a scholarship recipient, Dr. Lam completed his surgical training at Barnes Hospital, a teaching hospital of Washington University, located in St. Louis, Missouri. While at Barnes Hospital, Dr. Lam trained exclusively in general, vascular, and thoracic surgery. He later utilized that experience as the Chief of Surgery at Hawthorne Community Medical Group.

Dr. Friedlander was appointed Clinical Instructor of Surgery at the University of Southern California in 1999. Throughout her career she has developed and published a variety of scientific studies in well-known medical journals. Dr. Friedlander is a member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES) and the Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons. She has also presented several research projects at national medical conferences.

After graduating as valedictorian of his high school class, Dr. Nguyen also attained the honor of graduating summa cum laude with his Bachelor of Science from Muhlenberg College, in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Shortly after completing his undergraduate studies, he chose to pursue his interest in molecular biology by participating in research in the field of genomic imprinting at the University of Pennsylvania. He then went on to complete his medical education at Temple University School of Medicine.

Dr. Madorin completed her general surgery residency training at The Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City and went on to complete a fellowship in endocrine surgery at NorthShore University Healthsystem in Chicago, IL. She is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a candidate member of the American College of Surgeons and the American Association of Endocrine Surgeons. Dr. Madorin is dedicated to providing her patients with compassionate, high-quality, and advanced surgical care.
