Steven D. Fisher, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. FisherDr. Fisher was born in Montreal, Canada. He completed his medical training at Boston University in 1972 and did his surgical residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Fisher spent one year in a surgical oncology fellowship at the City of Hope Medical Center, where he obtained additional experience in performing more extensive operations for treating cancer. He has been in practice in general surgery in the South Bay area since 1978. Dr. Fisher has been active in numerous hospital committees and tumor boards and has a special interest in breast surgery. In addition, Dr. Fisher is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), is a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons and currently serves as the Director of Surgery of the Tumor Board at Torrance Memorial Medical Center.
